Setup STEM Labs in Schools
At The Stem Makers, we work with some of the leading schools setting up their STEM labs, managing their STEM classes for a few months, training the teachers and finally handing over to the management. We are vendor agnostic and provide the best option based on the schools requirements. Over a 2 year period we have evaluated multiple vendors based on many parameters. Since the components are small and are lost, pilfered during the process, we assist in replenishing the components to ensure continuity.

KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Public School, Kanuru, Vijayawada
We got involved right from planning the requirements based on students. We setup the lab to cater so that 30 students can work on various STEM related projects simultaneously. We did the entire planning related to material required, procured the entire material, product manuals, storage and fully organized the lab. The initial implementation took us two months.
We managed the lab for six months during which more than 1000 students got actively involved in various projects. For the first time during their Science fair there was a separate section exclusively for Robotics which received great appreciation
Aravinda High School, Kunchanapalli, Vijayawada
We got involved right from planning the requirements based on number of students, age group/classes of the students. We setup the lab to cater so that 20 students can work on various STEM related projects simultaneously. We did the entire planning related to material required, procured the entire material, product manuals, storage and fully organized the lab. The initial implementation took us two months. Since the budgets were different and the target student group, we procured a completely different setup of kits customized to their requirements.
We trained the teachers of running the lab and over the last two years more than 2000 students benefited from the lab. We helped the school in replenishing the various lab items too.
Heal Paradise School, Arigipalle, Vijayawada
Early 2020 while working with students at Heal Paradise, I used Mechanix boxes to engage the kids in hands on activity based learning. Fast forward 2 years later in 2022, in collaboration with Zephyr toys, the manufacturers of Mechanix range, we set up a full fledged activity lab using the material.
Using 90+ different components, arranged in alphabetical order, in custom made component racks, 20 batches of students have the resources to assemble mechanical models from 150+ different models. Sky is the limit to assembling models from imagination.
Hands on experience through building and experimentation provided by this activity enables them learn the concepts of mechanical engineering, foster a love for STEM, teach nuanced problem solving, analysis, deduction, intuition and ability to find solutions in the face of incomplete information.
