Why Robotics for kids.
Robotics is an intedisciplinary branch of engineering which combines coding, electronics, communication, mechanical assembly and more, involving design, construction, operation and use of robots. The goal of robotics is to design machines that can help and assist humans.
Robotics allows children to learn STEM concepts in a hands-on environment where they learn how to program, design, and make their own robots. It encourages kids to think creatively, to build and design solutions to real world problems, while learning iterative problem solving approach. It encourages kids to think outside the box and come up with original, innovative ideas. It challenges them to translate ideas of what they want to create into physical reality through trial and error, failures and finally success.
Robotics Training at The STEM Makers
The Stem Makers Lab run by Ms Asha Kranthi is the best place for learning Robotics and programming for students in the age group 7 to 15 yrs.
At The Stem Maker Labs, we provide structured learning programs in Robotics and Programming every month and during summer too. Simultaneously we also train teams to participate in Robotics competitions nationally and internationally. We provide both long term and short term robotics camps during summer and festival holidays.
Our Center is in Vishnupuram Colony Poranki, near to Slate School. We have state of the art robotics kits from VEX and Aavishkar for all levels of students. We have enough robotics kits where 20 students can simultaneously build and test robots. All these robots built by students are tested in a 6 feet by 8 feet arena in our Poranki Center.
Across India and the world, lot of robotics competitions are held. Even though we focus on two main competitions i.e. Aavishkar and VEX Robotics, we provide training and testing across other Robotics and Arduino kits.

Aavishkar Robotics
Avishkaar Robotics is a platform for young innovators to learn next gen tech skills like Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Electronics, App Development and Coding. At The Stem Makers Labs we have Aavishkar kits right from the basic ones to the most advanced ones catering to students of age 5 to 15.
Vex IQ Robotics Competition
The VEX IQ Robotics Competition, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation(RECF), provides elementary and middle school students with exciting, open-ended robotics challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centered learning. At the Stem Maker Labs, we have VEXIQ Kits to enable us participate in competitions. A 6ft by 8ft arena is where the kids get competition ready.
