With the competition scheduled from 22^nd to 24^th December 2025, the countdown has begun. Early preparation is the key to mastering robotics concepts and performing confidently at the IIT Mumbai campus.

2.The STEM Makers Vijayawada: Pioneering VEX & Aavishkar Robotics Training

To help students get ready for this grand challenge, The STEM Makers Vijayawada is conducting an exclusive Blixathon 2025 Training Program, combining hands-on learning with expert mentorship.

Under the guidance of Asha Kranthi, who has trained over 100+ students in Blixathon 2024, VEX Robotics and Aavishkar Robotics, the institute has built a reputation for producing confident, competition-ready innovators.

In 2024, over 300 teams from across India participated in Blixathon, and this year’s event is expected to attract even more. The STEM Makers’ program ensures that participants are fully prepared for the challenge through:

Blix Robotics modules with real-world problem-solving.

3.What Makes Blixathon Special

Problem-solving challenges centered around real-world themes.

Season 2025 game : Blixathon 3rd edition has different problem statements catering to different age groups and aptitudes. The games are designed to challenge students to “Engineer bots for real world tasks” or “Code with logic, strategy and flair” The different problem statements in Blixathon 3rd edition are:

Robo-Sprint(Junior Category): In Robo-Sprint challenge, participants need to pass as many balls into the opponents area of the arena within 3 minutes and the team having fewest balls within their court at the end will win the round.

The Ultimate Maze(Junior Category): In the Ultimate Maze challenge, participants must design a maze where the marble takes the longest time to reach the end — the slowest marble wins.

Robo-Precision(Senior Category): In the Robo- Precision challenge, participants need to build the tallest tower by stacking cups on the specified area, within 5 minutes.

Coding Quest(Senior Category): In the Coding Quest challenge, participants have to pre-program their robot to collect cubes from designated colored zones and deliver them to their matching colored zones within the allotted time.

Age Group: 8 and above
Format: Each team builds projects around fun, theme-based challenges, often integrating simple motors, gears, and coding, to execute a task and maximize score within specified time.
Why it matters: An excellent entry point for students new to robotics—encourages creativity and sparks long-term interest in STEM. Venue being IIT Bombay is an opportunity for students to get exposed to cutting edge Science and Technology stuff.
At The STEM Makers: Students are trained in foundational robotics concepts using Blix material, where they learn assembly, experimentation, and teamwork, which is used by the students to design their robots under expert mentorship and test on Real time arenas.

For students trained at The STEM Makers Vijayawada, Blixathon becomes a gateway to national and international recognition and a stepping stone toward successful careers in science, engineering, and innovation.
