The STEM Makers

Virtual Robotics

What is Virtual Robotics?

Virtual Robotics is the simulation of robots in a digital environment without using physical hardware. It allows users to design, program, and test robots virtually. This is widely used in education, prototyping, and research. It’s a safe, cost-effective way to learn robotics and coding.

Why Virtual Robotics?

Virtual Robotics offers a safe and cost-effective way to learn and test robotics without needing physical hardware. It enhances STEM education by providing interactive, hands-on programming experiences. Users can experiment freely and develop problem-solving skills in a risk-free environment. It’s ideal for both beginners and professionals to prototype and innovate efficiently.

Why Virtual Robotics for kids?

As the demand for tech-driven learning accelerates, The STEM Makers in Vijayawada is leading the way with its cutting-edge virtual robotics curriculum. Tailored for students who want to dive into robotics and coding from home, this program merges interactive online learning with real-world applications—bringing virtual robotics to life in every household. Whether you’re near the bustling center of Vijayawada or close to landmarks like DV Manor Hotel, students citywide can now access high-quality STEM education without stepping outside.

Our virtual robotics camp introduces learners to foundational concepts in robotics, programming logic, and design thinking. With a combination of live sessions, step-by-step guidance, and engaging simulation tools, students gain hands-on experience in building and controlling robots virtually. Using platforms such as VEXcode VR, Tinkercad, and Scratch, they develop both coding skills and a deep understanding of virtual engineering environments—skills that seamlessly translate to physical robotics kits and real-world tech challenges.

Kids, during this course, will use the VEXcode VR environment by VEX Robotics, to program a virtual robot, with an eye sensor, distance sensor, magnet, pen, location sensing and bumper sensor to program to VR Bot for various applications in appropriate VR Environments.

Note: This course is for kids aged 10+ yrs and above. it is one hour class thrice a week.
